5 Fruity Desserts to Celebrate Summer

Summer may be wrapping up in the Sea to Sky, but our farmers have no shortage of fresh fruit for the markets! Blueberries and peaches in particular are in their peak season right now, so we’ve done some research and put together some of our favourite summer dessert recipes that incorporate these tasty fruits.

So, where can you buy these delicious fruits? We have two awesome fruit vendors at our Sunday markets. Mandair Farms and AIG Produce Osoyoos impress us each week with their plentiful displays of gorgeous fruits - not limited to strawberries! We are also excited to have Hare’s Farm selling organic blueberries, and Playlist Lavender with their delicious peaches. Check them out at our market this Sunday, from 11am - 4pm at the SLCC!
