The market takes place outdoors along the pedestrian-only Upper Village Stroll, surrounded by shops, restaurants and mountain views.

MARKET DIRECTIONS

Getting here

Walking (recommended): The market is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the centre of Whistler Village via the Village Stroll. The route is scenic, paved, and pedestrian-friendly.

Cycling: Bike racks are available in the Upper Village. Please dismount and walk your bike once you arrive at the market.

Transit: BC Transit provides regular service throughout Whistler, with stops within walking distance of the Upper Village. View BC Transit Schedules.

Driving & Parking: There is limited paid street parking along Blackcomb Way, adjacent to the market. Note that these spots often fill up and most people opt to park in Whistler’s municipal Day Lots, located about a 5-10 minute walk from the Upper Village. The Whistler Farmers’ Market aims to be a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The market is held on paved pedestrian pathways that are generally suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers and strollers. As an outdoor event, visitors should expect gentle slopes, busy pedestrian areas and occosional uneven surfaces.

Service animals are welcome throughout the market.

Public washrooms are available in several buildings in the Upper Village and are accessible via ramps and elevators, including Le Chamois Hotel, Portobello in the Fairmont Chateau, and Whistler Blackcomb Day Lodge.

Sustainability

You may notice the existing garbage cans along the market are not in use while the market is in operations. This is because we have a dedicated trash station located within the middle of the market. Look for the green AWARE tent!

  • Yes. Public seating is available throughout the Upper Village. If sitting on a bar or restaurant patio, kindly support that business by purchasing from them.

    • Reusable shopping bags

    • Travel mug and water bottle. Bottled water is not sold at the market.

    • Debit/credit card, plus a little cash. Most vendors accept card payments, but payment methods vary by vendor.

  • If you’re shopping for fresh produce or popular baked goods, arriving earlier in the day will give you the best selection. If you’re looking for a more relaxed experience, the market is a great place to enjoy lunch, live music and browse throughout the afternoon.
