Jury process

Parts of your Manage My Market profile will form your public profile on the Whistler Farmers Market Website, and is used by the jury to assess your profile and products. Pay special attention to the Profile and Products sections on Manage My Market. This is your time to shine. Take time to provide us with all the relevant details about yourself, your business and products, as well as quality images.

Applicants are required to display a full market set-up photo as well as quality photos of all products you wish to sell. Upload the images to the Products page. Tell us about your products, ingredients, where you source them, your production methods, price structure, etc. The information you provide will be used in the jurying process. Any new products you wish to add throughout the season must be submitted for jury review.

In addition to the above, food/drink/liquor vendors that are required to jury must provide product samples to the Market Manager.

Jury-Exempt Vendors

Vendors who are returning for their 3rd consecutive year or longer will not have to provide a sample for Jury review, however, any new products must be provided for review. These vendors must still complete an online application and will be reviewed at this process. This exemption will end at the end of the 5th consecutive year, at which point the applicant will begin the jury submission process from the beginning.

If a vendor has been attending the market for 8 plus consecutive years, and meets the application criteria for their existing products, then they are not required to attend the jury. With the exception that any new product lines must be juried.
