Help Shape the Future of the Whistler Farmers' Market
The Whistler Farmers' Market Society is seeking nominations for election to its Board of Directors at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
As several Directors complete their terms of service, we are seeking individuals who can contribute governance expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to support the long-term success of the Society. Nominations are encouraged from both within the market and wider community.
Nomination Deadline: Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Annual General Meeting: Thursday, August 6, 2026
The Board's role is to provide governance and oversight of the Whistler Farmers' Market, including strategic planning, policy development, financial stewardship, and organizational sustainability.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
Board governance
Human resources and policy development
Strategic planning
Accounting and financial oversight
Administration and organizational development
Fundraising and financial development
Community development
Serving on the Board is an opportunity to help guide one of Whistler's most valued community organizations and contribute to its future growth and impact.
